love the pistol, however a recent bad experience really disappointed me. used as a edc and the rose/gold coated areas all show corrosion and sig sauer will not cover it under warranty! very disappointing

Sizes differ per country, UF Pro is a Slovene company, so maybe the fact that the UF Pro trousers are slimmer if you are used to US sizing, but for me (also living in Europe) the sizing is similar to my normal (jeans) size.

Why tf would a group test at any more than 25 yards get sketchy? Every other test was very valuable data but a 25 yard group isn’t even showing a measurable moa.

Cant go wrong with Gold dots, ever! I opted personally for the 62gr Bonded loads by federal, which is essentially the same exact projectile but in my experience about 100fps faster load and got them on sale about 40cpr cheaper than the GD loads so grabbed 3 500rnd cases.) Out of my 14.5 Geissele upper They do consistent and respectable 1.25-1.5MOA (which ill absolutely take all day from a duty carbine load with a great barrel and only a 1-6 LPVO/offset red dot) My 20in Colt SPR build gets a diet of 77gr OTMs for those longer pokes but its beyond argument that these Bonded softpoint loads are the superior choice in every metric for a general purpose Duty round out to 400yds with a carbine. Absolutely proven performers.

Remember, this is 8" of penetration in CLEAR GEL which is known for having projectiles penetrate deeper...... so youre looking at closer to 6in in calibrated FBI gel

Great test. Bummer its still so slow. Federal lists their NATO load (which sadly seems impossible to find) at 124gr @ 1260fps from a 4" barrel. Which is bordering on +p+ velocity. Probably why it's so rarely on the market.

I think I will finally settle the debate on what ammo to stockpile for my SPR build. I have gone back and forth with going with with .223 or 5.56 and in my area, I can buy PPU 75gr BTHP for $15 a box but it’s .223 so I know the lower pressure isn’t ideal and I wasn’t sure it’d have enough energy out to distance. I know it’s a completely different round, but I am glad to see that .223 can perform pretty well at 600 yards, which is what I would probably keep this gun at for max range (maybe 700). I would love to shoot 1000 yards just for shits and giggles too so we will see. I have an 18in DD S2W barrel so I’m assuming that PPU stuff would get around high 2400-2500fps out of my barrel (I hope). Thank you for the review, you’ve given me a lot to think about

Question... 12 round mag, seem to really have to work to get the 12th round in and there is no downward play / slack. With mine with 12 rounds had to really get ruff to lock mag when slide is in battery and when tried to rack slide slide would not move. 11 rounds...slide moves but still stiff.... works flawlessly with 10 rounds in 12 round mag.... My experience with browning HiPower 9mm... fully load mag (13 rnd) and got about 1/2 round of vertical play in mag. P365xl fully loaded mag 12 rounds in 12 round mag have to really work to get 12th round in and there is no vertical play of rounds in mag,. Got a walter pdp compact, 15 rnd mags, easy to load completely and has a bit of vertical play for the rounds in a fully loaded mag. So makes me wonder if sig 12 rnd mags need some tweeking; gun loves the ten rounds in 12 mag but if it has issues with holding and functioning with a 12 R mag this is not good, Sig says well donr insert full mag unless slide is back, also said to hit the slide forward hmmm..... If gun works flawlessly with 10 R in a 12 E mag and has issues eat out of a full 12 Rnd mag, makes me wonder !!!!???? .

Do the old ammo and new on each gun. Now we cant compare. Use your brain.

9:55 you stated you were expecting the denim to clog up- but these projectiles are not hollow points so no clogging. So the denim slowed down the projectile a tad and still got 14” penetration. Your videos are excellent.

Alot of personal defense rounds just aren't the same and what I've found is they fragmented badly those look like they hold together. A .308 for personal defense is actually for not just short range it'd also for the guy with a rifle shooting at you so it still needs to be accurate. My choice for a short barrel self defense round is a Federal 180 grain in what I call after the Paul Pelosi attack a short handled hammer. Did you measure the diameter if the wound track from the vid it looked like it might have been 3" or surpassed 3" that's good. Anything less than 18" in depth isn't good for medium or lg game it should work way.out there for.hogs and out to 300 for deere.

I use the 168 AMAX a lot in my HK91. Great ammo choice but I do have to say out all the ammo I’ve bought over the years the AMAX held up for its price

One of my son's friends bought Atomic 308 TMK...huge pattern for grouping and $3 a round. Junk ammo, total waste of time and money. We reload our 308 brass with Hornady bullets and get sub-MOA groups with a mid-range load of IMR 3031. We get sub-MOA with their hunting bullets as well as Hornady 168-gr BTHP match.

The 55gr Hornady Spire Point SP is great for small, Southern deer. It is an Inter-Lok, or bonded bullet. It holds together even after hitting bone.

.5 inch at 25 yards is NOT half MOA!!!

My 365 xl does the same thing slap the mag home, with the slide locked back she goes into battery. I carry and enjoy shooting this handgun. Shoots very nice like the balance and recoil feed back to me is light for such a light weight smaller profile gun. Works for carry and lots of fun at the range as well.

It's the same exact ammo in a different box they jut rounded up the velocity for marketing that's not cool Winchester. With that said Winchester NATO is by far my favorite practice ammo and Winchester 124 grn Red and white box JHP hit in the same point of aim as the NATO rounds witch make it perfect for practice and the Red and white JHP's perfect for EDC self defense.

Both which you visually and articulately describe well, but on your fracture analysis for the 308 Hornady critical defense 155gr I think you may have inadvertently swapped wound profiles calling the permanent (wound) cavities…temporary cavities🤷🏻‍♂️ which have important distinctions Thxs again for your comprehensive efforts on the channel, Keep up the good work, cheers!
